  • A compelling horror tale about a Romani legend, Sarah-la-kali, imprisons a demon, who manages to get lose and plans to stay that way. Can those who know about the legend help to confine the demon once again? I really enjoyed this gory horror read, the premise of which was grounded in history and was suspenseful and terrifying in parts. I am not a huge fan of the paranormal but even the existence of witches in this story did not detract anything from it for me. Possibly the best horror I have rea [...]

  • Oh Tom you have done it again! I was enthralled by this book! I didn't want to put it down at all. You my dear sir are a great storyteller!!

  • I can't remember the last time I've read a book and really liked the main characters, even worried for their fates but this book sure brought out that feeling in me. • Wow!Wow, great book!! Once you start it, you will not be able to put it down!! Keeps you on the edge of your seat! I'm not familiar with the Romani Culture, the Author helps explain it through the story! I look forward to reading other books by this Author!!

  • ExcellentA thrill ride from start to finish. Tom Calen's found his voice in this suspenseful tale of witchcraft and murder. Part Lovecraft, part King - a novel you won't be able to put down.
